A sequel to Super Mario Bros. 1, released in Japan on the Famicom Disk System. Here is a pirated version of this game on the NES. The game is actually a map pack of the first part with slightly reworked graphics. Some elements have been added, such as a poisonous mushroom, wind in the levels, springs that throw you into the clouds and other such "goodies". You can play as either Mario or Luigi, and the gameplay is different for the two brothers. The second Mario is much more difficult than the first. A fun game with simple rules. We control a gold digger. On each level you have to collect all the gold piles and climb the ladder to the top. On the way, you will be hindered by enemies who will steal gold from time to time and take it away with them. Your prospector knows how to dig holes in the ground. You have to do this in such a way as to lure the enemy into them without getting trapped yourself. The graphics are simple, but that is not the most important thing in a game this exciting.

In mode A there are no rivals, your main rival is time, but in mode B you have to try to beat the time record while pushing around the track with other motorcyclists. An excellent 1988 action game from Konami that combines good graphics, sound and interesting gameplay. In 1989, when the Ninja Turtles were at the height of their popularity, Konami released the first game about the young mutants' adventures on the NES. It turned out to be a varied platformer. At the start of each level (except the last), the turtles explore the terrain from above. When you enter a building or open hatch, you play from the side. Scenery and enemy designs are inspired by the dark atmosphere of the original comic. The character can be selected from the pause menu during the game. Each member of the team has their own health bar, so you can swap one battered turtle for another, alive and awake, at any time. The difficulty is high due to the controls, character sluggishness and vicious enemies. But true turtle fans will not be put off by such inconveniences.

Just a cool arcade game. In the American version, you control a tough hero in a green vest, grey trousers and black glasses. In the Japanese version, you control a cop in a robot suit. The hero can punch, jump, crouch and cling to nets. On the levels, he finds components (blocks) to create powerful weapons. When you collect and combine these three components, you get a hovering robot sidekick that hovers above your head and fires at your command. The type of weapon the robot has depends on the combination of blocks. The graphics in the game are of a very high quality, the levels are well thought out and drawn, the music is just on five. Castlevania is the beginning of the story of the famous series of games about the castle and Count Dracula. Vampire hunter Simon Belmont travels to the Count's sinister residence to put him to rest once and for all (or rather, for the time being). The weapon of the Vampyroborz is a long whip. Other weapons include a knife, an axe, holy water, a boomerang cross and a magic clock. After defeating monsters familiar to us from horror films - the vampire bat, Medusa, mummies, Frankenstein's monster and Death - Simon reaches Dracula's throne room and confronts the lord of the castle himself. The game is challenging, not least because of the peculiar controls, but at the same time it is maddeningly addictive. A timeless NES classic.

It's been a year since the Brothers defeated the Shadow Warriors. Now they embark on a campaign for the Sacred Stones, while kicking the crap out of the local bandits. The developers have spent a lot of time on the game's graphics, which are of a high quality. After hitting an enemy with your foot (or twice with your hand), you can approach them diagonally, grab them and start elbowing or kneeing them. At these moments, your character is invulnerable. In the third part, as well as playing as Billy and Jimmy Lee, you can also play as their two defeated enemies - the Chinese Chin and the ninja Renzou. Pressing Select allows you to choose your weapon and character (level 2 and 3 bosses will appear there after you defeat them).

Unlike the first game, this is not a pure platformer, but a collection of different levels. Young cartoon characters visit the amusement park created by their old enemy Montana Max, and to get out you have to visit all the attractions. Each action must be completed for a different character. Here and riding on a tree trunk, and travelling on the roof of the train, and riding on wagons, and the crazy autodrome. The final level is the castle, where we can give Max a well-deserved beating as Rabbit Buster. The game is made on excellent, above all praise.

We play as an ice axe climber whose task is to climb to the top of a mountain and then catch a flying bird with his paws. But this seemingly simple task is hindered by various obstacles: seals, birds, polar bears, icicles... And to climb up one level (there are quite a few on the mountain), we'll have to use inhuman patience to make a hole in the ceiling with an ice axe (just don't try this at home - your neighbours will misunderstand you). On the way up, there is a bonus level which, to be honest, is more difficult than the climb you made earlier. It's really fun to play with two people, especially for the speed.

A popular hero from Capcom games. For those who don't know, Mega Man is a robot who specialises in ridding the world of pest robots. Using his wrist cannon, you must traverse several levels filled with these very pests. At the end of each level there is a boss waiting for you, and after defeating him you will get his weapon, which will help you to continue your task more efficiently. The game is a must, not only because of its good graphics and sound, but also because it is quite interesting, especially the boss battles and, of course, the bosses themselves.

Fun-filled hockey. Like other Technos sports, this is a no-holds-barred hockey game with cool characters and killer graphics. It is maddeningly fun to play, especially when you see the facial expressions that will make you fall under the table with laughter. Unusual skills and super moves add to the fun. Fred and his friend Barney rescue children from trouble. You can play as either character, switching from one to the other by pressing "Select". The characters complement each other, each having their own weapons (Fred has a baton, Barney has a slingshot) and abilities (Barney can grab the bars and Fred can pull himself up on the ledges). New stages surprise with new secrets and interesting design. The graphics, similar to the last part of the game, are famous for their pleasant colours and have even improved a little. In terms of mechanics and complexity, the game is close to Ninja Gaiden, and the atmosphere is great.
