Without exaggeration, the best eight-bit quest ever. Cool graphics, interesting parody plot, all the unique quest chips (riddles, puzzles). Lots of items to interact with and 12 actions to choose from. At the beginning of the game you can choose two companions for the main character. The ending of the game changes depending on their abilities. What else is needed for happiness! As there are a lot of endings in the game, you should play it over and over again to see them all. In the Japanese version of the game, the characters look different.

Arcade adventure game. The character is a winged boy called Pete. He runs around with a bow and fights various evil things. Although the game is one of the earliest on the console, it is incredibly varied. First you climb a high tower, then you're given a whole dungeon to explore, looking for keys and quest items. And when you have completed all the stages of this game, you will be rewarded with an exciting flying shooter at the end. You can't do without searching for secrets. If you do not find the most important ones, the ending will not be revealed. Recommended for fans of non-standard games.

Unlike the first game, Rad Racer 2 has nicer graphics and better sound. By the way, the car accelerated faster in the first game, and the gearshift is more realistic in Rad Racer 2. The environment has been drawn in greater detail, with more vivid colours. Music has been added. Otherwise, the gameplay is almost the same as in the first Rad Racer.

Nightmares on Elm Street. You have to explore the houses, survive in them to find Freddy Krueger and then, if you succeed, kill him.

This game from Sunsoft was originally developed as a game about Superman. However, due to the loss of the licence, we had to remove all references to the famous DC Comics hero and invent our own hero - Sunman. Even so, the game was not officially released - we have a prototype. And not completely finished - the hero's attacks do not always hit the target. Nevertheless, it's worth playing and evaluating.

Classic AD&D on NES. Eight heroes return to their home village to find it destroyed. They must take revenge on the culprits. We walk around the map and when we meet an enemy, we fight them in real time. It's a good RPG, by the way. It was never released outside Japan, but no problem: there is a fan translation.

The second part of Dig Dug game. Arcade game. The aim of the game is to blow up all the monsters on the level with the pump.

The Untouchables. Not a bad shooting gallery for the NES, with detailed graphics and simple gameplay. The game is about the Mafia, which is original. Recommended.

Everything in this game is literally steeped in Japanese mythology. Our hero is a young samurai named Fuuma, who sets out to defeat the dragon monster and avenge his dead brothers. The game itself is an action-adventure with RPG elements. There are three modes: open world with top view, platformer with side view and pseudo-three-dimensional with a view from behind the hero. In the open world, we travel around the map; in platforming levels, we fight monsters and defeat bosses; and in three-dimensional labyrinths reminiscent of Might & Magic and Doom, we try to find a way to the next main enemy. RPG elements include weapon upgrades and a huge inventory. The main difficulty lies in the puzzles, some of which require a lot of thinking. An unremarkable game, full of variety.

A relatively rare genre on 8 bits. An open world game, similar to Metroid. At the very beginning there are several routes available, our hero - a special agent - can choose any of them. At first, the character can only jump, shoot and swim. Then he can acquire various useful abilities: teleportation, healing, flight, invulnerability and the ability to shrink. A good idea is spoiled by a mediocre implementation: the game's graphics and music are not up to the best examples of the genre.

A game based on a famous film. We have the role of a little boy left at home alone and confronted with two rather stupid bandits. In the game, you use various handy features to temporarily stop the bandits, and everything is done as in the film (even the tree house, which you have to climb with a rope). There's nothing more to say about the game, it's short and unmemorable. Bottom line: the game will only interest fans of the film.

"Fire and Ice. Here, a green old bearded man combines the roles of Father Christmas and fireman. Going from level to level, he tries to extinguish the fires with pieces of ice. And he succeeds. The old man also has a magic wand with which he can create new pieces of ice. You can also use it to push and destroy pieces of ice. Quite a fascinating game with interesting levels, a good challenge for fans of logical problems.

A beautiful game, unlike previous versions of ADiD. We choose a character, his race, his sex, his profession. Then we have to ride a horse to a settlement where our adventures will continue. A real treasure for fans of complex role-playing games.

The game is not like the AD&D series. It is not a role-playing game, but a kind of scroll-shooter in which we have to control a dragon. It is very spectacular and rises and falls smoothly to different heights. Apparently there is a bit of RPG in this game, because the dragons you can play as have different characteristics.

It's an overhead shooter. The main character is an infantryman who is brought into the jungle by helicopter. He knows how to throw grenades (ultimate) and how to shoot. In the desert, where the action takes place, there are also enemies (where there are none). A collision with them is enough for our hero to die. There are often hiding places in the level. All in all, a fun game.

Space military and economic strategy game. The game is not the easiest, designed for patient and calculating players. I remember that at that time there was such a game on PC (several parts).

Curious idea, original controls. The whole game is a free retelling of the Bible. We will see with our own eyes all the key moments of the famous book. We will be in the skin of famous characters, the fate of the world depends on our actions. All this is accompanied by good graphics and uncomplicated sound.
