Then Popeye will be strong for a while and no Bluto can stop him! You have to get the hearts quickly without letting them get stale, otherwise the game is over. The game consists of three different levels and endless repetitions, but this in no way detracts from its merits. In 2-player mode, you take turns playing.

Nova's main weapon is, strangely enough, a boomerang. It can be thrown upwards as well as forwards. You can increase the boomerang's range by picking up stars along the way. If you try hard enough, you can find a suit of armour that will protect you from any three enemy attacks. The interesting gameplay alone makes this a worthy project. Beautiful and varied stages only add to this.

The Taito company once again pleases us with a quality creation with good graphics, catchy music and an exciting atmosphere. The sequel to Power Blade takes us into the future, to the distant year 2200. You are still Nova, a special agent of the secret service. Once again you have to save humanity, this time from an external threat. The first 4 levels of the game can be played in any order. As before, you are armed with a boomerang, but there are other ways to hit enemies. In each of the early levels, you can go through a door to fight a dragon boss and, if you win, receive one of four 'cyborg suits'. Each suit gives you a weapon and additional abilities (climbing walls, swimming, flying, defending against enemies and bullets), and energy for the suit must be replenished by collecting bonuses along the way. You can also improve the hero's stats by finding prizes, so he can throw the boomerang further. A great action game that never gets boring.

Platform action game. This is the Japanese and first version of the Power Blade game. It is distinguished by the following (point by point): 1) the inability to shoot upwards; 2) slow character speed; and 3) no power suits. All this makes the game much more difficult than the first and second parts of the American Power Blade, so it is only recommended for experienced players.
