Обновилась популярная виртуальная машина позволяющая запускать всевозможные операционки не проделывая никаких операций с разделами на жёстком диске... впрочем кому я это говорю?
В общем, пока бета. Но явно очень скоро будет и финальный релиз.

Ну что имеем:
Ideneb 1.5.8 Lite Edition-поставился без проблем(правда в первый раз я не выбрал дрова для ПС2-мыши и клавы, пришлось переставлять. Ядро выбрал oopz для AMD, остальное по дефолту). Почему ставил его-быстро ставится(на реальном компе ставится за 15 минут. Не подцепился звук, наверно надо поискать кексты в драйвер паке,наверно займусь завтра, сеть нашлась без проблем-тип сетевого адаптера-Intel Desktop, дефолтный. Жаль нету VBOX Additions для Мака. Скорость в виртуалке-классно все. 3д конечно тормозит(Сафари например)
Ритейл-нифига, У меня АМД просто проц, наверно поэтому.
Остальные сборки Лео ставить не буду, ибо и на реальном компе они ставится часов по 4-6.
Вообще для экспериментальной поддержки-классно все, надеюсь, что разрабы улучшат эмуляцию и дальше.
Guest Additions: added support for executing guest applications from the host system-расскажите подробно-что это, как использовать. Это типа выполнение гостевых приложений на хосте?

Olorin СКАЖИТЕ ПОЖАЛУЙСТО КАК НА ЭТОЙ ВИРТУАЛЬНОЙ МАШИНЕ УСТАНОВИТЬ WINDOWS,YB КАК НЕ МОГУ РАЗОБРАТЬСЯ НА СТАРОЫХ ВЕРСИЯХ ВСЁ БЫЛО БЕЗ ПРОБЛЕМ А ЗДЕСЬ ЧТО ТО НИ КАК НЕ ПОЙМУ

А что там не так? Успешно ставил XP SP3(не сборка). Да и вообще юзать беты-на свой страх и риск(я седня, например, уже БСОД поймал в момент установки Тигры, перед этим была ошибка и приложение можно было закрыть, я проигнорировал, Тигра ставилась дальше и получил БСОД с проблемой в каком то боксовском файле).

Хм.. Наверное уже можно не ждать, что в VirtualBox вернется возможность полноценной поддержки Win 95/98/ME, в часности функция VM Additions?

Там когда запускаешь установку системы не появляктся ни мею диска я пробывал Windows xp.7.98 и ни в одной не появилось даже меню диска там только чётный экран и не понятные надписи
