The Super Mario Bros. port for the Master System by developer LackofTrack brings Nintendo's classic game to the Sega console. Movement physics, enemy behavior, hitboxes, and timings fully replicate the original NES version.
The project's main feature is support for additional modes that leverage the Master System hardware. The game includes an updated graphics mode in the style of Super Mario All-Stars with an expanded palette and detailed backgrounds, as well as a sound mode featuring arrangements for the YM2413 FM synthesizer.
