Life on Mars

Metroidvania, originally released on MSX2 and then as "Life on Mars Remake" for PC Windows. Like Super Metroid, there is a map and you have to search for weapon upgrades to get to other locations. A scientific settlement was established on Mars and a frozen bacteria was discovered in the local ice. Soon after, communication with the colony was lost. After 9 months, a ship with a technician from Earth finally reached Mars. Weapons in the beginning are weak, and the enemies are big - your finger will get tired while you find new or pump old weapons. There is no shortage of big bosses either. The map is small: only 2 floors and half of the third. Quality game with beautiful graphics.
