Bio Force Ape

Bio Force Ape is a cancelled NES game about a mutant monkey who must save his adopted human family from a mad scientist. Despite repeated mentions and praise in Nintendo Power magazine, Bio Force Ape was cancelled for unknown reasons in April 1992. In 2010, a prototype cartridge of the game appeared on the Japanese online auction site "Yahoo! Auctions," where it was purchased by Frank Cifaldi, the founder of the website Lost Levels, dedicated to finding unreleased games. In 2011, the game's ROM image was released online and became available for emulation.
