How to change mapper headers?
You can use an emulator like FCEUX to change any *.nes game's mapper to anything you like.

Everdrive N8 China workarounds for mappers:

*You can also refer to the maplog found in nesos-v1.14* Some workarounds are also there :)

Mapper 71 Games:
- Largely a clone of UNROM. You can change the header of any iNES 71 game to iNES 2 (excluding "Fire Hawk")
- Workaround is not needed for an original NES/Famicom as the mapper works correctly, only to be done if using an incompatible clone.

Mapper 151 Games:
- Mapper for VS. System Games. Currently has a bad implementation of this mapper so it has been removed.
- You can try to change the header from iNES 151 to iNES 75, but there are NO guarantees that it will work.
- It is much better to use special patches to convert VS. System games to NES.
- Some patches for VS. Games are available on "http://nes.goondocks.se/nespatches.php"

Mapper 155 Games:
- A select few such as Money Game, The & Tatakae!! Ramen Man: Sakuretsu Choujin 102 Gei - Appear to work when the ROM mapper header is changed from iNES 155 to iNES 1

Mapper 176 Games:
- A few roms are set to iNES 30

Mapper 189 Games:
- This mapper has been ported and does work, but it also has unexpected behavior so this is considered experimental
- Possible workaround is to change the header from iNES 189 to iNES 4,118,119. No guarantees that this will work

Mapper 191 Games:
- Mapper has been ported, but it is badly implemented(unexpected behavior can occur).
- A pirate MMC3 variant. No guarantees that it will work if ROM header is changed to MMC3 and its supported variants
- Get the original rom whose mapper is supported.

Mapper 205 Games:
- "Extremely similar" to iNES 37. Mapper has been ported, but it is badly implemented(unexpected behavior can occur).
- Has MMC3-style registers.
- A Pirate cart mapper. Get the original rom whose mapper is supported.

Mapper 206 Games:
- A game named "Gauntlet" has visual problems(backgrounds are drawn/rendered incorrectly) if this game is assigned to Mapper 206 because it uses four-screen mirroring, so assign its iNES header to Mapper 4 instead.

Mapper 207 Games:
- A bad implementation of this mapper was done on OS V6 and above so a workaround was done on OS V14 which loads mapper 80 once the system detects iNES mapper header 207.
- Mapper implementation has been removed as it's faulty.
- For this clone, you just have to change the ROM header to mapper 80. Mapper 80 assigned "Fudou Myouou Den" won't work properly on emulators, but works well on this Everdrive N8 clone.
- Only "Fudou Myouou Den" uses this mapper.

Mapper 210:
- Most games should work as Mapper 19. Change game header to mapper 19

Mapper 219:
- Only 1 ROM works. "3D Block (Hwang Shinwei) [!]" or "3D Block (Unl) [a1][!]".
 > Hwang Shinwei version of "3D Block (RCM Group) [!]" uses this mapper. It doesn't function correctly in both emulator and everdrive n8.
 > Original version of 3D Block is made by "RCM Group" and that uses NROM (iNES 0)

Mapper 228:
- Active Enterprises mapper is similar to iNES 225.
 > Use patches to convert ROMs to a common mapper
 > Some NES Mini patches work. These can be found here "https://www.robin64.co.uk/nespatchpack/" or here "https://gitlab.liu.se/ellma121/hakchi2/-/tree/v3.5.2/patches?ref_type=tags"

**Cybernoid - This game relies on bus conflicts, which the EverDrive N8 has difficulty with. Use or permanently patch the US ROM with Game Genie code SXZNZV to get the game to work properly after you change the sound mode from sound effects to music.

A lot of the documented workarounds should be available at nesdev.org as well as a few online journals(or enthusiast articles)
