Nikolas2021, изменения как в коде самой малинки, так и в коде меню, прошивать малину надо в любом случае, ну и пико карик тоже если нужен быстрый запуск. доп фукции это принудительное отключение разгона, отключение EDC/ECC корекции и и отключение исправления первых 16 секторов, их кстати исправлять надо только для японок и есть игры которые не запускаются если эта коррекция включена |

Hi, Just arrived to the forum. Thanks a lot to all of you developing this, I've been following it closely for a while. I had been using the previous test release of picostation with OC on a pu18 board, and when I saw the pico booty I just thought I could test first using one of those cheap Gameshark clones and flash it. I tried a Caetla rom and with the switch to disable it it speeds up the boot to picostation a lot from 24s to 11s and it conveniently shows a START sign instead of the playstation logo. Then I saw there is this Picostation Menu Rom available and flashed it to the Cart, and saw that it does exactly the same, but with the difference of just showing a black screen until the picostation menu shows up (and changing the video mode from Pal to NTSC). Now i've seen today the new update that adds cheat options but my parallel port cart with picostation menu rom doesn't work anymore, any idea why? I'm planning to install the additional pico booty device but until I do that I wanted to see exactly the benefits of it. What does this rom exactly do and why would it affect compatibility? thanks |

I was trying to understand what the installation of the picobooty is but I guess with the translator I'm missing some information as I've seen in the pictures of the previous pages some additional module and the memory and don't know what that is about |

You probably meant this ? No, that's not necessary. That was an experiment for a different purpose, also for a "cheat cartridge," but based on an EEPROM (sst39vf040). It's not needed for pico_booty... :) |

Могу сказать как я сделал, я просто подключил "Pico_Booty" от 3,3v. от Parallel i/o... ) На питание 3.3v. я установил кнопку, можно в любой момент включить и запустить оригинальный биос sony. |

Я подключил его, как вы сказали. Спасибо. Работает хорошо, загрузка очень быстрая, но иногда зависает на экране загрузки Pico, а иногда меню Pico Station застревает на этапе меню, не отображая содержимое SD-карты, просто ожидая загрузки. При отключенной загрузке Pico этого не происходит. У меня PU18, и, похоже, fastboot тоже иногда дает сбой, а загрузка читов зависает чаще всего, особенно если включено более одного чита. Orig. I wired it as you said. thanks. it works well, the boot is really fast but sometimes it locks in the pico booty screen and sometimes the pico station menu gets stuck on the menu without showing the contents of the SD, just waiting loading, that doesn't happen with the pico booty disabled. I have a pu18 and it seems that fastboot is also failing sometimes, and cheats loading gets stuck most of the times specially if more than one cheat is enabled. |

Добавлено позже: Вот ещё чего я нашёл, вот такую вот игруху, он же "сеговский" Соник. Вся игра чисто на одном "EXE" файле, т.е. теоретически его можно бы запихнуть и "затолкать" в прошивку на picodev...)) А таки получилось, "затолкалось" туда четыре игрули, на этот раз уже не спектрум, а другие игры, тот же Соник, Сапёр и т.д.. Данную "приблуду" припаять можно даже на PSOne... :) P.S. Были конечно ещё там файтинги, танчики, но флеш память на "пико" тут уже как бы на пределе. Игры Pico_Dev_4.rar (520.65 КБ - загружено 67 раз.) |

Вот вопрос, если я spi флеш беру с донора, её стереть надо или нет? припаял к малине и не полетела, даже не мяукнула, прошивку закинул конечно, ну я про основную с пикостэйшн такую нашел EN25Q32B-104HIP и есть ещё на 256 мегабит |
